about

From the mountains to the oceans, notions of time slip with the inching drift.
Birds soar above mist-shrouded mountaintops, the rain-soaked rock, the source that feeds the spring.
The alchemy of elements, chemistry and chaos, and the cycles of fire and ice that burn and freeze, eruption and erosion.
Ice that scours the stone melts and floods, the deluge dividing - rivers and waterfalls carve and quench the burnt earth.
On the slopes and the foothills the timeless rocks -sandstone, limestone and granite - cast and scattered by ancient giants, and carved by half forgotten hands.
These megaliths and geoglyphs, echoing the constellations of the stars, messages and symbols from ancient astronomers, building blocks to pagan gods.
Our ancestors who worshipped rocks, creating pathways to the gods of the sun and the moon.
These Goddess landscape temples - tor, barrow and cairn, chamber, dolmen and quoit - solstice and equinox illuminating the trilithons
From the Nazca Lines to the Cerne Abbas Giant, from the basalt boulders of the Olmec heads to the volcanic Moai of the Rapa Nui.
From sunrise on the Callanish stones to the moonlit feedback of the Duloe quartz.
Underground in the fougou at Carn Euny , through the Men-an-Tol, over Silbury Hill, around henges of wood and stone - neolithic, megalithic - messages and meanings scattered through time, becoming remnants and ruins of cultures carved in stone.
The earth quakes and towers tumble. Civilizations crumble, the debris of culture sunk beneath the waves.
The moon driven tides that settle and swell, reflecting the skies, stars sailing the seas.
The unfathomable ocean, pink with dawn, golden as it swallows the sun, silver with moonlight - liquid celestial metal - clouding with mist.
From the seas life bubbles and oozes - primordial, amniotic, the source of life.
Swim, crawl, stride, fly. From fins to wings, gliding through water and on the air.
Vapour rises, clouds pass over the peaks, from source to source, from the oceans to the mountains.
